Design in Debian - Debian Design
Uniform is a project in Debian Design. Uniform is an attempt to
make unified design decisions across applications and services
ahead of installment. Uniform is a package that can hook onto
packages and override their own designs. Uniform makes it possible
to make a unified look and feel for branding purposes, a
homogenized desktop experience with at clear identity.
Handy for blends and forks that want to make their own customizations

and for the next stable version of Debian.

Starting with color and typeface schemes, the scope of the package can
potentially expand to include other configuration issues like
choice of widget theme, icon theme, wallpaper and voice management.
Uniform is not about designing, but about activating and translating
designs and customizations into different programming languages.
